Use a program called automatix available for ubuntu , and it installs a host of things that aren't as readily available on the regular synaptics servers, along with Firefox 1.5.... And no, there is nothing you need to remove to install it.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Unless I'm missing something, I haven't had a single problem with a brand new install of 5.10 on my new 600m laptop.  I am completely content.  My desktop is the same way, firefox 1.5 went on smoothly with automatix.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Mario</dc:creator><pubDate>Sat, 11 Mar 2006 02:22:53 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
