The ones that were just FM transmitters never sounded clear to me. Not sure what the difference is but I like this one much better.RebeccaTue, 26 Sep 2006 18:30:50 -0000http://revjim.net/2006/09/26/potentially-illegal-range/#comment-4224494In my experience, the FM transmitters are serviceable, but you get the best performance, of course, by wiring up a 3.4mm jack directly to your stereo, if possible. My new car had one pre-wired, so I have happily given up my FM transmitter. I do still use it with the stereo in the house, though.MarioTue, 26 Sep 2006 11:08:56 -0000
