shit, and I thought I had issues! ;)

Ha. I deal with them pretty well though. Unless you're my wife or a close friend, you probably never even know.

I would suggest with hotel stays - bring a can of Lyseol or buy one, bring your own towels, and look into something called a Love Sac? - that comfortable sleeping bag.

Actually, I'm ok with things the way they are. Lysol and a love sac and my own towels only add to the complications. I do my checking around and, in the end, everything is ok. Just crazy. Ha.

I have many of the same fears and I'm in a hotel as I read/write this!

Ones that you didn't mention that are biggies for me:

    1. Walking barefoot on the rugs
    2. The underside of the comforter/any blankets. If they touch me, I will violently shake them off
    3. Touching the inside of the shower curtain or the shower walls

Oh man! #3... that's another one for me. If I end up in one of those
hotels that doesn't have the rounded shower curtain rod, I'll almost
be brought to tears trying to avoid the curtain. I may even shower
with the curtain slightly open to help ensure that I don't touch it.
    Because that's really gross.

    Being barefoot doesn't bother me.

And the comforter... hahaha...I won't even leave it on the bed. It
goes right to the floor first thing.

I'm glad I have a kindred spirit in this. :)

(and... I, too, am in a hotel as I write these words)

Wow, thanks. Now I'm frightened of hotels, too.

Hhahaa. Hotel's are evil, evil things. :)
