I use IntenseDebate now with Comment Luv built in! If you don't know what Comment Luv is, it's a commenting feature whereby the commenter gets to leave a link of their last blog post. It's "link love" and encourages more comments. As a blog writer, we know that we love comments.

Disqus is a quality commenting system. I love comment on it much better than any other system. When I am searching for a blog to read, this is one of the things I am looking for.

As you can see, I use Disqus now. And... JS-Kit has been replaced with ECHO.

I'm wondering why you chose to compare Disqus with IntenseDebate...You have JK-kit has a greater coverage than IntenseDebate. I found an article about the differences between Disquis, JK-kit and IntenseDebate. You can see a chart there with statistics on how these three services are being used ad the results each brings in. I really hope it will help you see how IntenseDebate hasn't been used lately.

I had try Intense Debate before, and I doesn't like it very much, may be I will try to use Disqus,I'd like to replace my current setup with something much simpler,and guests post simpler too.

Even now, many months later, the clickpass implementation is still
very poor. It's a shame, really.

Disqus has since added in ClickPass support which includes a very poor, difficult to use, unexpected openid implementation.

I like commenting using DISQUS. But I am really confused about the. Like, what would would happen to the comments, when Disqus won't be providing the service anymore?

I believe it does. I'm no longer using it, but I believe it is a
recently added feature.

I've only recently signed up to discus, and they do support OpenID via ClickPass .

Well, I signed up for Disqus- seems like a cool service, but after hearing your review, I'm very disappointed they don't support OpenID (though not like I use it... yet). I totally agree with your decision to go with them versus IntenseDebate for the reasons you described- it's important to be able to easily and efficiently communicate, which is the whole purpose.
