That said, I don't think there is any question that you should take the job.</p><p>Syracuse isn't some strange place for you where there is no one to talk to. From what I understand, Jess has family in that area, which is great - especially with the baby coming. Not to mention it's clearly a step up for you career and income wise, which is great. Maybe you take the job, kick it's ass, and in three years you pretty much have your pick of where to be. If Syracuse sucks, you move back. If not, then you know you made the right decision.</p><p>And either way, with friends as good as the ones you described above, you know that whatever you decide - they will always be your friends, and I'm sure by the way this tears at you that you and Jess will find ways to visit with them whenever possible (here or there).</p><p>Congratulations on the offer!</p>Ryan AbramsFri, 03 Aug 2007 13:39:09 -0000
